This December, come to Calgary to really warm your heart with some holiday spirit! These upcoming shows are sure to put a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

Charles Dickens classic story about a miserly curmudgeon who has a change of heart is maybe the perfect Christmas story, and you can see it live at the Max Bell Theatre starting November 28, with dates all the way to Christmas Eve! Adapted and Directed by Dennis Garnhum and starring Stephen Hair as the timeless character Ebenezer Scrooge, this version will be sure to open you and your family to the magic of the season. Details and tickets available here.

Okay, this isn’t TECHNICALLY a Christmas story, but it is a heartwarming and tear-jerking family classic! Charlotte’s Web is coming to the Martha Cohen Theatre November 21 to December 31! A musical adaptation of E.B White’s unforgettable tale, the tale of “some pig” and his guardian angel spider comes to life in song and dance. Watch a young girl make best friends with Wilbur, Charlotte, and all the rest while learning important life lessons on the farm in a show that you and your children will never forget. Learn more here!

If you’re looking for a little less “heart-warming” and a little more “hilarious” in your Christmas season, you HAVE to see The Santaland Chronicles. Based on writer David Sedaris’ book where he outlines his experiences working as a Macy’s department store elf during the holidays, The Santaland Chronicles brings a cheerfully cynical eye to Christmas. A perfect gift for the “humbug” on your shopping list, you can buy tickets here.
