Calgary Blues Music Association is pleased to announce the headline artists for the 2012 Calgary Midwinter Bluesfest! Taking the stage for this year's event are three of the finest guitarists in blues, with Jimmy D. Lane, known as 'The Son of the Blues'; Kelly Richey, who's been described "Stevie Ray Vaughan trapped in a woman's body with Janis Joplin screaming to get out"; and 2012 Maple Blues Award winner for Guitarist of the Year, Steve Strongman.

There's a full week of activities planned, with adult and all ages workshops, Singing the Blues Vocal Camp, Twilight Blues Jam, CBMA Blues Hall of Fame Awards, a special matinee performance & all ages jam, and our famous Dance Parties!
